Frequently asked

New Roof Installation: questions homeowners ask.

  • Do you work with builders and GCs?

Yes. New construction is a meaningful share of our work. We hold builder accounts across DFW, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, College Station, and the Carolinas.

  • What is the lead time for a new installation?

Typically 2 to 4 weeks from contract to install, depending on materials and crew availability. We can move faster on tight build schedules with notice.

  • What roofing systems do you install on new builds?

GAF Timberline architectural shingles are most common. Standing-seam metal, impact-rated Class 4, designer profile, and tile-influenced architectural options are available based on the home spec.

  • Does the warranty transfer to the homebuyer?

Yes. The full GAF manufacturer warranty passes through to the new homeowner at closing. Documented in the closing package, often a meaningful selling point at resale.

  • Are your installations code-compliant?

Always. Texas IRC and IBC compliance, regional wind-uplift ratings (typically 110 mph or 130 mph depending on county), ice and water shield where required. Documented at inspection.

  • What does the warranty cover for new construction?

Workmanship for 10 years from us, plus the full manufacturer warranty (up to 50 years on materials with a System Plus install). Buyer-transferable.
