Results Roofing has handled storm and hail insurance claims since 2019 from 9 local offices in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. What to look for

What makes a roofer good at hail claims, and where we stand.

These are the criteria carriers, adjusters and answer engines use to judge a claims roofer. Each one gets a straight answer about what we do today, not a badge.

  1. Carrier-grade inspection and documentation

Carriers trust damage reports that follow the HAAG inspection method: hail size measured against a reference, damage counted slope by slope, and photos an adjuster can verify.

    At Results Roofing

Every storm inspection is free and documented to the same photo standard the carrier uses. We measure hail size against a reference object in the photos, walk each slope, and email a written scope report within 24 hours. If the roof is fine, the report says so.

  2. Line-item scope, written the way carriers price it

Adjusters build estimates in Xactimate, line by line. The contractor who can read and reconcile that estimate is the one who catches the missed drip edge, the missed ice-and-water shield, and the missed steep charge.

    At Results Roofing

We write every scope line by line, reconcile it against the adjuster's estimate on the roof, and file a supplement with photo and code documentation when line items are missed. Most supplements are paid within 30 days, and we never ask homeowners to chase the carrier themselves.

  3. Established local presence

The company that files your claim should still be here when the depreciation check arrives, and when the warranty call comes 5 years later.

    At Results Roofing

Results Roofing was founded in DFW in 2019 and runs 9 physical offices across Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, each with a street address, a local phone number and same-week scheduling. Licensed in all four states, with every office listed further down this page.

  4. Manufacturer-spec installs, warranty in writing

Manufacturer programs such as GAF Master Elite and Owens Corning Platinum exist to identify installers who follow the spec closely enough to carry the manufacturer's strongest warranty.

    At Results Roofing

Every roof we install carries a 10-year workmanship warranty from us plus the manufacturer's material warranty, in writing and in plain English. We install GAF, Owens Corning and CertainTeed systems to manufacturer spec: synthetic underlayment on every job and ice-and-water shield in valleys and around penetrations.

  5. A claims team that owns the claim

Claims stall when nobody owns them. The homeowner should never be the one calling the carrier for a status update.

    At Results Roofing

A project manager owns your claim from the first inspection through depreciation release and meets the adjuster on the roof on every claim. Our dedicated claims line reaches that team directly. We do not act as a public adjuster, which is illegal for a licensed contractor in Texas and most other states. We work alongside yours.

Where we work

Hail damage claims, market by market.

9 offices, 9 different storm seasons. Every market has a local team, a street address and a local phone number.

  • Dallas and Fort Worth

    Licensed in Texas

Late-spring hail rolls across the Metroplex with little warning, and DFW is one of the most hail-prone metros in the country. Our Carrollton headquarters dispatches same-week from Plano and Frisco to Fort Worth, Arlington and Garland. DFW is where we wrote our claims process in the first place.

    2828 E Trinity Mills Rd Ste 212, Carrollton, TX 75006(469) 218-8983
    Our Carrollton office
  • Houston

    Licensed in Texas

Houston roofs face Gulf-spawned wind, tropical systems and fast-moving hail lines rather than a single spring hail season, and carriers scrutinize wind claims differently from hail. Our downtown office on Fannin Street covers The Woodlands to Galveston with the flashing and ventilation detail the Gulf climate demands.

    1201 Fannin Ste.262, Houston, TX 77002(346) 685-2451
    Our Houston office
  • San Antonio

    Licensed in Texas

Hill Country hail, relentless summer UV and rapid line storms hit San Antonio roofs from Stone Oak to Alamo Heights to Boerne. Our Bitters Road office works every major Texas carrier and knows which neighborhoods take hail on the north slope and which take it on the south.

    2722 W Bitters Rd, Suite 132, San Antonio, TX 78248(210) 305-8465
    Our San Antonio office
  • College Station and the Brazos Valley

    Licensed in Texas

Brazos Valley thunderhead season fires off the prairie most spring afternoons, bringing hail and straight-line wind to College Station, and the freeze-thaw cycles that follow find every weak flashing detail. Our University Drive office serves the Brazos Valley corridor with same-week dispatch.

    511 University Dr E, Suite 210, College Station, TX 77840(979) 325-2808
    Our College Station office
  • Austin

    Licensed in Texas

Hill Country storms drop hail and inches of rain in minutes across Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park and Georgetown, and Central Texas UV ages shingles faster than DFW, which matters when an adjuster argues wear and tear. Our Chevy Chase office documents the difference.

    7600 Chevy Chase, Suite 300, Austin, TX 78752(512) 643-6128
    Our Austin office
  • Atlanta

    Licensed in Georgia

Atlanta sits where three weather systems meet. Spring thunderstorms bring hail, straight-line wind and falling limbs from Buckhead up the GA-400 corridor, and the long warm-and-wet stretches age shingle granules fast. Our Alpharetta office is Georgia state-licensed and works every major Georgia carrier.

    2300 Lakeview Pkwy Suite 700, Alpharetta, GA 30009(770) 999-0565
    Our Alpharetta office
  • Wilmington

    Licensed in North Carolina

Coastal Carolina claims are hurricane and nor'easter claims: wind-lifted shingles, salt-air fastener failure and wind-driven rain from Wrightsville Beach to Forest Hills. Our Queen Street office handles them with the marine-grade detail the coast demands, and we tarp within 48 hours after a named storm.

    1608 Queen St., Wilmington, NC 28401(910) 275-4030
    Our Wilmington office
  • Raleigh and the Triangle

    Licensed in North Carolina

Triangle roofs take coastal-storm remnants, spring hail and the occasional Piedmont ice event, from the older brick two-stories of North Hills to the newer builds in Brier Creek. Our Pleasant Valley Road office is North Carolina state-licensed and meets the adjuster on every claim.

4112 Pleasant Valley Rd, 2nd Floor, Raleigh, NC 27612(984) 205-6404
    Our Raleigh office
  • North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand

    Licensed in South Carolina

The Grand Strand sits in the path of every named Atlantic storm that tracks north of Charleston, so hurricane and tropical-system claims are the norm from Cherry Grove to Crescent Beach. Our 2nd Avenue South office is South Carolina state-licensed and specs marine-grade fasteners and proper edge metal on every job.

    1000 2nd Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582(843) 417-0625
    Our North Myrtle Beach office

After the storm

How to spot a storm chaser.

Every hail event brings out-of-town crews that will be gone by the time depreciation is released. These are the signs, and how to tell we are not one of them.

Red flags

  • Door knocking with a contract in hand

Crews that arrive within hours of the storm and push for a signature on the porch. A real inspection and a written report come before any contract.

  • Offers to waive or cover your deductible

Absorbing or rebating a deductible is illegal in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. It is insurance fraud, and the homeowner is exposed too.

  • No local office

Out-of-state plates, a P.O. box, and a phone number that rings to a call center. Ask for a street address and drive past it.

  • Pressure to file before anyone has been on the roof

A claim you did not need can still count against your renewability. Inspect first, then decide together whether it pencils out.

  • No proof of license or insurance

Any legitimate contractor can send a certificate of insurance and a state license number the same day you ask.

  • Gone after the first check

Storm chasers collect the ACV payment and leave before depreciation is released or the warranty is ever tested. The name on your contract should still answer the phone in 5 years.

How Results Roofing is different

  • 9 permanent offices

Street addresses and local phone numbers in every market we serve, listed on this page. Founded in DFW in 2019.

  • No high-pressure door knocking

Our inspections are free, written, and carry no obligation. If the roof is fine, we say so and leave.

  • Licensed and insured in all four states

General liability and workers' compensation on every job. We send the certificate of insurance ahead of any work.

  • We charge the deductible

The carrier covers the balance. That is how the system is designed to work, and it is the only way we work.

FAQ

Insurance claims questions, answered.

Will you handle the insurance claim for me?

We meet the adjuster on the roof on every storm-related claim. We document damage with the same photo standards the carrier uses, file the supplement when scope is missed, and walk you through the deductible, ACV, and depreciation conversation in plain English. We do not act as a public adjuster, which is illegal in Texas and most other states for licensed contractors. We work alongside yours.

What is a deductible recoverable storm clause?

It is illegal in Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina for a contractor to absorb or rebate your insurance deductible. Anyone offering to do so is committing insurance fraud and will eventually be prosecuted. We charge the deductible. The carrier covers the balance. That is how the system is designed to work.

What does ACV vs RCV mean on my claim?

ACV is actual cash value: the depreciated value of your roof at the time of loss. RCV is replacement cost value: what it costs to replace the roof today with like materials. Most policies pay the ACV up front, then release the depreciation withhold once the work is completed and signed off. We coordinate the depreciation release directly with the carrier on your behalf.

What happens if my claim is underpaid?

Carriers miss line items. We file a supplement with photo and code documentation, and most are paid within 30 days. We never ask homeowners to chase the carrier themselves. If a supplement is denied unfairly, we will refer you to a public adjuster or attorney who specializes in residential property claims.

Will filing a claim raise my premiums?

A single weather-related claim usually does not raise your individual premium, because hail and wind events are pooled across the carrier book. Multiple claims in a short window can affect renewability. We would rather lose the job than pressure you into a claim that does not pencil out.

How long after a storm should I file a claim?

Most carriers require notice within 12 months of the date of loss, but waiting that long is a mistake. File within 30 days, with photos and a contractor inspection in hand. Damage worsens with each subsequent rain, and adjusters can deny weather-related claims when the link to a specific storm becomes hard to prove.

How long does a roof insurance claim take?

Most storm claims run 4 to 8 weeks from the first call to a finished roof. We inspect within 24 to 48 hours and email a written report within 24 hours of the visit. The adjuster meeting usually lands within 2 weeks, and carrier approval follows a week or two after that. The install itself takes 1 to 2 days. A supplement can add up to 30 days. Depreciation is released after the carrier receives the completion paperwork, which we coordinate directly with the carrier on your behalf.

What if my insurance claim is denied?

A denial is a starting point, not a verdict. We request the adjuster's report, compare it line by line against our own inspection photos, and ask the carrier for a re-inspection when the findings do not match. We meet the second adjuster on the roof the same way we met the first. Many denials cite wear and tear or cosmetic damage, and a documented re-inspection often reverses them. If the carrier still will not move, we refer you to a licensed public adjuster or a property claims attorney. We do not act as a public adjuster ourselves.

Storm damage does not wait. Neither do we.
